March is our Anniversary Month and 2020 brings us to four years of quality times at the taproom. FOUR YEARS!!! We have plenty of events planned this month to keep your belly full, your palate satisfied and your mind active. Read on for a full list of vendors, beers and experiences.

Sunday, March 1 – fit4mom Spring Into Fitness – 11am
Join fit4mom North Shore for a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout to get ready for spring! Tickets available here. Sandwiches will be served post-workout. But, really, who eats a pre-workout sandwich?

Thursday, March 5 thru Sunday March 8 – 4th Anniversary Weekend
There are food events Friday, Saturday and Sunday and we are releasing two beers on Thursday, our DIPA dry hopped with Cascade and Centennial and a new beer for us, a Pale Ale dry hopped with Mosaic and Simcoe. We will also start using and selling the glasses shown in the picture above! More details are here!

Thursday, March 12 – Beer Release: Irish Red
The Irish Red returns for St. Patrick’s Day weekend. We have released this beer annually to help us all get in the spirit of the holiday. It is malty, red, minimally hopped with East Kent Golding and sessionable, brewed specifically so you can have a couple of pints and some good craic! Sláinte! We will also begin selling 20 oz St. Patrick’s Day themed tulip glasses for you to purchase and use the whole weekend. Just bring it back and we will fill it for the same price as a 12 oz pour.

Friday, March 13 – Empanada Dada – 5-9pm
Friday the 13th is not scary when Rob is here with his empanada truck. Everyone loves empanadas. And he does make a shepherd’s pie empanada which will likely make an appearance, cause, you know, St. Patrick and all.

Saturday, March 14 – St. Patrick’s Day Celebration – 12-10pm
Beantown Pastrami Company – 12-5pm – Beantown will be in the taproom slinging corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. You want this.
Cask O’ Stout – Wash it all down with an imperial pint of stout, served as real ale from a cask. It is smooth as velvet and twice as delicious.
Alice’s Table – 7-9pm – Finish your night with some creative expression as you craft your own St. Patrick’s Day themed flower arrangement. Tickets available here!

Caution: Old Picture. Taproom and Brewer are not accurate representation of their current selves.

Thursday, March 19 – Beer Release: Divergent #18 – Cans and Draft
The next recipe returns Di⋅ver⋅gent to its light colored ale roots. We chose to dry hop this batch with Motueka, Ekuanot and Idaho 7 hops. Expect flavors of lime and lemon zest and tropical fruit. Available on draft as well for a limited time.

Saturday, March 21 – Empanada Dada – 2-8pm
Love the empanada pop-up from 2-8pm, because you can come for an empanada snack at two or you can come later in the day and make a meal out of it!

Sunday, March 22 – BlueWave Solar Community Event – 2pm
Come down to the taproom to learn about how you can sign up to be part of the solar array being built in Beverly by BlueWave Solar. The brewery is a customer of BlueWave from a project they built south of Boston. Paul Gentile, owner of Gentile Brewing, will be on hand for the short presentation and to share our experiences, should you have any questions. You can learn more from this article in Wicked Local Beverly originally published in January 2020.

Thursday, March 26 – Beer Release: Sour Ale w/ Raspberry and Blood Orange – Draft ONLY
Join us for our next sour ale release. This kettle sour uses the same malt from our Summer Sour beer, is soured with a house-made culture and features raspberry and blood orange pureé. We do not do sours very often, so we are excited to offer this to you!

Friday, March 27 – Butter “UR” Biscuit – 5-9pm
The biscuit truck is BACK! You know them and you know you love them. And if you don’t know them, you really should, so come meet them. All things Latin Soul Food will be served. Risk it for the biscuit!

Saturday, March 28 – Spring Mixer w/ Medium Jamie Day – 7-9pm
Yoga, meditation, healing crystals, Reiki, manifestation, spirit guides, tarot and oracle readings, spirituality, etc. Are these some of your favorite things?? Come on down to the taproom to meet some like minded individuals! This event is free, open to the public, and welcoming of everyone! Meet and mingle and make new friends!
