Welp, it’s the last month of the Summer. Where the heck has the time gone? As you start to shake off the sand and realize that school starts in a mere few weeks, we’ve got you covered. All the details for our food events and beer releases in August can be found below. And don’t forget every Saturday from 2-6pm we’re operating our beer garden over at Hale Farm.

Thursday, August 8 – Po’ Boys & Pies – 5-9pm
This one is really exciting for us. You might remember the owner of this business, Todd, from a fundraiser we held about a year ago to help him offset the cost of recovering from a life-saving kidney transplant. Well, thanks to your generous contributions and he and his family’s hard work, strength and perseverance, he survived and is thriving. Your reward is to come to his first pop-up in the taproom. Think muffuletas and pecan pie. Drool…

Friday, August 16 – Boston Hill BBQ – 5-9pm
Boston Hill BBQ returns to the taproom with their BBQ deliciousness. Pulled pork, ribs, beans, slaw. Friday dinner has been planned. No reservations needed. Kids and dogs as per usual.

Thursday, August 22 – Beer Release: American Table Beer
This beer came out so good, we wanted to have it again. We made twice as much this time too. A session Belgian Pale Ale, or table beer, that we fermented with our Abbey strain and dry hopped with Comet and Four Star Farms Teamaker hops. It reminds us of drinking an Arnold Palmer but with about 4% alcohol. Such a good sipper.

Friday, August 23 – Empanada Dada – 5-9pm
We love having Rob at the taproom because we love him and his empanadas! And we know you do too, because you always show up and try to eat all the empanadas. Your new challenge has been issued.

Sunday, September 1 – Closing Early @ 4pm
A couple of OG Mug Club members, Adam and Debbie are getting married and they chose their favorite taproom for their nuptials. So, we are going to close a little early so we can clean the place up and get it ready for their hitchin’! We are sorry for the inconvenience but you wouldn’t stand in the way of true love, would you? We didn’t think so. We will see you after Labor Day!
