Well, Spring has sprung! We have some great events planned and a couple of beer releases too! And, as the weather continues to improve we will open up The Deck and commence outdoor beer service. Holy cow, are we looking forward to that! We do not have a start date finalized yet but hoping for no later than April 28. Mark your calendars!

Saturday, April 2 – Sweet Treats by Maria Rose – 12-3pm
Join us on Saturday for cookies and beer! Maria Rose is bringing a bunch of her Sweet Treats including a sweet and salty cookie, brownie Oreo and decorated sugar cookies. She will also have some decorate-your-own kits if you would like a fun and delicious weekend activity. You can also pre-order some Easter cookies from her, here!

Saturday, April 9 – Barre Fight and BBQ – Pre-open (11am) to Sold Out (when the food is gone)
Ever wanted to get into a bar fight?! No? How about a barre fight?! Well, here is your opportunity! Get your ticket here and join Marissa for her high energy kickboxing/barre blended class and have a beer afterwards. The price includes your first beer. And stick around because Hill Country Market returns with their Texas BBQ! There isn’t better Texas BBQ around. Last time was pulled pork and chopped beef sandwiches, and well, we had one of each. Don’t miss out!

CLOSED EASTER SUNDAY (April 17)
We will be closed on Easter Sunday (Catholics, here) but be sure to come in Thursday, Friday or Saturday for beers and cans to go. Adult Easter Egg hunt, anyone?!

Friday, April 22 – Empanada Dada – 4-8pm
All hail the Return of Bob!!! It has been a while since we have had Empanada Dada at our taproom and we are really excited for him to come back! Back during high pandemic, Bob posted up every Friday out front. He helped us, we helped him and you helped us both. Now that we are drinking beers inside again, come say hi! And maybe, by this point in the month, The Deck will be open too!

Sunday, April 24 – Gentile Book Club – High Noon
The April book is Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. Read it by this date, join the group to discuss and we will buy you your first beer! Check it out of a library, get a digital copy or support one of our local bookstores, Copperdog Books or Book Shop of Beverly Farms!

Saturday, April 30 – Spring Fling Beverly Brewery Crawl – 12-10pm
If you haven’t heard, the Beverly breweries are teaming up once again for the semi-annual taproom crawl. You can start whenever you like and as long as you visit all four of us before we close you will have completed the Beverly Beer Mile! Earn a stamp at each brewery if you buy a full size beer. Collect all four stamps and win a new Beverly Beer Mile glass, while supplies last. Check out the event, here. See you on The Mile!

Oh, and did I mention we are all brewing a special beer for this event. We are calling it A Mile In Our Shoes, and each of us is doing a rendition of a pale ale to release on Saturday. Simple and delicious. Just how we like it.

Other Beer Releases
So, in addition to the Beverly brewery collaboration, A Mile In Our Shoes Pale Ale, we will also be releasing our Pink Boots beer and a Smoked Helles at some point in April. Our Pink Boots Beer 2022 is a Kölsch that we dry hopped with this year’s Pink Boots Society hop blend. We are getting notes of berry and bubble gum which seems to go nicely with the fruitiness of the Kölsch yeast. And we haven’t made our Smoked Helles since 2018, so this rauchbeir is a welcome addition back to our menu. We used a small percentage of cherry-wood smoked malt to impart the flavor and it goes nicely with the malty helles base beer. Come give it a try! Stay tuned to our social media for the actual release dates.

We hope you have a great start to Spring and we will see you soon!
