September brings the end of beach days and summer fun but don’t despair we’ve got you covered with our September 2019 taproom events – multiple beer releases and yummy food pop-ups. Take a look below at what September at Gentile Brewing has to offer.

Sunday, September 1 – Closing @ 4PM for Private Event

Monday, September 2 – Labor Day – CLOSED

Thursday, September 5 – Chez Rafiki Pop-Up – 5-9pm and Double Beer Release
Chez Rafiki is taking time away from serving the cast and crew of Adam Sandler‘s newest movie being filmed on the North Shore to bring his Mediterranean food truck to Park Street. Join us at the taproom from 5-9pm for falafel, shawarma, gyro and kofta sandwiches or plates. Oh, and Mediterranean poutine.

We are also having a double beer release. Our latest recipe of Divergent, #17, will be available in cans and on draft. This recipe was created to bring us out of summer and into fall. It pours a light orange and is hopped with a blend of three German hops, Grüngiest, Hull Melon and Hallertau Blanc. Expect flavors of fresh cut grass, melon and white wine. And speaking of fall, we are also releasing a brewery favorite, Dunkel, a dark German-style lager.

Thursday, September 12 – Double IPA Release
As is usual for us this time of year we release our Double IPA. It is brewed to honor and recognize the Herculean effort Christen made to grow two humans…at the same time! So, we release it the weekend of their birthday in September and also on the brewery’s birthday in March. It is a malt-forward IPA and is hopped with two classic hops, Cascade and Centennial. This is your old school Double IPA.

Friday, September 13 – Butter UR Biscuit Pop-Up – 5-9pm
Part of our mission as a business is to help other business grow. We are so happy to be able to do it again! Butter “UR” Biscuit has been catering for a while now but they recently set up a food truck and put their Latin Soul Kitchen on wheels. Basically, delicious food, slapped in a delicious biscuit that you inhale. Can’t wait to try this!

Saturday, September 14 – Corner Butcher at the Beer Garden – 2-6pm
This Saturday is the final Beer Garden at Hale Farm. The Corner Butcher Shop will be there cooking up some of your favorite grill-able meats accompanied by a side or two. It is also The Brothers 3rd birthday and the Gentiles will be there celebrating. Thankfully, the Hale Farm is a big property with room to run.

Friday, September 20 – Empanada Dada – 5-9pm
Rob is getting into an empanada rhythm with us here at the taproom. He is going to be serving in front of the taproom the second Friday of every month from here on out. Well, not from here, because this is technically the third Friday, but starting in October. Either way, he will be here tonight and the empanadas will be delicious.

Sunday, September 22 – Grown-Up Book Fair with Copper Dog Books – Starts @ 12pm
So, Meg and Julie literally bought the whole store. We are sure you know their smiling faces from Cabot Street Books, now named Copper Dog Books. And we are certain you remember the adult book fairs we have had at the taproom. Well, we are doing it again! Before you know it, you will want to curl up on your warm couch with a good book and a cold beer. Come stock up on both! The literary fun begins at noon.

Thursday, September 26 – Po’Boys & Pies Pop-Up – 6-9pm and Beer Release
Po’Boys & Pies returns to the taproom for another Thursday night service. If you missed them last month, do not make the same mistake again. Todd is an amazing chef and he is always creating something wonderful for you to eat.

We are also releasing our Märzen since this week is the official start of Oktoberfest in Munich. This beer pours a deep orange and will be malty with just a hint of noble hop character.

Sunday, September 29 – Donuts and Coffee Pop-Up – 1-4pm
Kid Dream and Angry Donut are pairing up again to give you your coffee and donut fix at the taproom. And, hey, there is also beer. Always beer.
