With school ending and summer ramping up we try not to plan too much at the taproom. We like to make sure that our vendors have successful visits because we want them to return. So take advantage of the pop-ups and food trucks we do have this month as the opportunities will be fewer and farther between. We also have beer releases happening weekly during the month of June 2019.
The biggest event this month will be our recurring Beer Garden at Hale Farm. Starting June 1, we will be pouring beer from 2-6pm every Saturday until September 14 at this historic property. The grounds are open to the public all day and you are welcome to bring your children so they can play outside and your leashed dog too!
Saturday, June 1 – Fare Well Boston – 2-6pm
We are hosting Fare Well Boston at the taproom and they will have their delicious scalzones, a scallion pancake made into various flavors of calzone. You could come to the Beer Garden for a beer and then head to the taproom for an early dinner, or take a late lunch at the taproom and then a nice stroll into downtown for a beer at the Hale Farm. Kind of a choose-your-own adventure.
Saturday, June 8 – Kid Dream Coffee – 12-3pm
A nice addition to our taproom events has been Kid Dream Coffee. They roll up with their mobile coffee cart and make wonderful coffee and drinks for you. Show up at noon for that second, or third, cup and then you are already here for a beer! And don’t forget the Beer Garden opens at 2pm until 6.
Thursday, June 13 – Hefeweizen and Di⋅ver⋅gent Recipe #16 Can Release – 4pm
Hefeweizen in a can, for all of your summer needs. Also, the next recipe of Di⋅ver⋅gent releases on draft and in cans. This batch uses the same soft malt profile and haze-inducing yeast but it is hopped with a blend of Loral and Amarillo. Nice and floral with supporting notes of tropical fruit and citrus. We will also have fresh cans of Farmhouse available. A 4-pack or two would make a pretty sweet gift for Father’s Day if your dad likes that type of thing.
Friday, June 14 – Chez Rafiki Mediterranean Food Truck – 5-9pm
Chez Rafiki returns and he is gathering quite a following here at the taproom. His food is excellent and all of the fillings (falafel, shawarma, gyro) are available in a wrap or as a salad. Also, mediterranean poutine. It is as good as you want it to be.
Saturday, June 15 – Kid Dream Coffee – 12-3pm
Kid Dream returns, doin’ their thing.
Sunday, June 16 – Father’s Day BBQ with Boston Hill BBQ – 1-5pm
Boston Hill BBQ returns with their smoker and will be cooking up a feast fit for a king! Your dad is sure to know you love him if you bring him to the taproom for BBQ and beer.
Friday, June 21 – Bonetown Burgers – 5-9pm
Our O.G. food truck returns to Park Street! We love having them up and they love coming because you all always show so much love! And metal. Always metal. Come celebrate the Summer Solstice with burgers and beer!
Sunday, June 23 – Brunch with Fare Well Boston – ???
Fare Well Boston returns to the taproom with their brunch menu (the April version is pictured below). Creative “brunchie” scalzones and sweet cinnamon buns. You want this.
