As we exit the season of Thanksgiving and enter the season of gift-giving, please keep in mind that one of the best gifts is beer. Or beer related items. Or gift cards to buy beer or beer related items. We have all of those things. We also have so many things happening at the taproom so you can give the best gift of all to your loved ones. Time spent together, in conversation, while enjoying food and beer. Or while enjoying a beer and crafting. Or trying a new beer. Do you see the common theme? Thursday, December 5 – Beer Release: Strong Mutha IPL – 4pm
Today we release the brew-over of the Strong Mutha IPL from the spring. This beer was originally designed and brewed by brewery owner Christen and taproom manager Emily as part of the Pink Boots Society annual beer project. It is back by popular demand and this round was brewed by Caroline, our newish Assistant Brewer. The base of the IPL contains biscuit and Munich malt and it is dry hopped with the 2019 Pink Boots Hop Blend. A truly unique beer!

Friday, December 6 – Butter “UR” Biscuit – 5-9pm
Join us at the taproom for the return of Butter “UR” Biscuit food truck. They have been here a few times now and if you haven’t had them yet, you should. Chicken and waffles, chicken on a biscuit and other mouth-watering Latin soul creations. You will not be disappointed. Every Friday is better with biscuits!

Saturday, December 7 – Ryal Side Giveback – 12-10pm
The first Saturday of every month we donate $1 of every beer sold back to the Ryal Side Civic Association so you can feel good about having one more beer.

Thursday, December 12 – Bottle Release: Christmas Ale 2019 and Chez Rafiki – 5-9pm
Our Christmas Ale is back, bottled, hand-labeled and ready for your enjoyment. A dark, strong English-style ale brewed with sweet orange peel and lightly spiced with cinnamon and clove. A festive beer for a festive occasion. Tastes will be available while supplies last. Chez Rafiki is joining us for the celebration with his wonderful menu of falafel, gyro and shawarma. It’s a party, y’all!

Friday, December 13 – Empanada Dada – 5-9pm
Not much is better than Empanada Friday. Don’t miss out.

Saturday, December 14 – Holiday Pet Market and Angry Donut- 12-4pm then Drafts & Crafts 7-9pm
Join us for our 1st Annual Holiday Pet Market from 12-4pm and come buy a little something for your favorite family member. Angry Donut will be here too to make sure you don’t pass out from all the shopping you will be doing. In the evening, we are hosting Wicked Rustic Workshops for another crafting opportunity. This workshop will be focused on making festive door hangers and ornaments! Be sure to purchase tickets ahead of time if you are interested.

Sunday, December 15 – Pints & Pilates – 11-12pm
Moira Riccio is bringing her training style to the taproom to give you an hour of booty burning and core pilates. You will use muscles you didn’t even know you had. Space is limited. so please email to reserve your spot!

Thursday, December 19 – Beer Release: Weizenbock and Po’ Boys & Pies – 6-9pm also Cheers & Beers 6:30-8:30pm
The last of our German wheat beer series. This is a darker and stronger version of the Dunkelweizen fermented with the Hefeweizen yeast. Flavors of dark fruit and spice paired with esters of a wheat beer. Po’ Boys & Pies will be here to feed the masses with their rotating selection of mouthwatering sandwiches and delicious pies. To round out the night, Alice’s Table is back with all the supplies to help you make that beautiful centerpiece for your holiday table. You know, the one that is in your head that will never look just right? They will help you make it look perfect!

Friday, December 20 – Ugly Sweater Party and Jaju Pierogi – 5-9pm
Don your ugliest holiday sweater, vest or sweater vest and join us in the taproom for a night of merriment as we collect food items for the Beverly Bootstraps Food Pantry. And what is merriment without feasting? Enter Jaju Pierogi to fill your tummy with a classic Polish Christmas food. Your food donation enters you into a raffle to win a gift basket containing Gentile Brewing items plus two VIP tickets to the North Shore Music Theater‘s production of A Christmas Carol.

Saturday, December 21 – Wrap Party – 12-10pm (Adults only 7-10pm)
Bring your bags of unwrapped gifts to the taproom, have a beer or two and wrap your presents on our tables. We will have an assortment of wrapping paper and supplies but feel free to bring your own. Children are welcome to wrap their presents here too, but, for the first time ever, we are asking that after 7pm it is adults only. It is likely that there will be some profanity in our music selection. And perhaps some dancing, should the mood strike. Get a sitter and join the fun!

Thursday, December 26 – Beer Release: Barrel-Aged Tripel – 4-10pm
Just in time for New Year’s Eve celebrations, we are releasing our barrel-aged Tripel. It was brewed as a classic Belgian Tripel back in July and fermented in stainless. Then, we transferred it to an American oak red wine barrel where it conditioned for six months. Some might call it the Champagne of beers. It is a light, dry and STRONG beer ready for primetime.
