Happy New Year! This January is an interesting month at the taproom because we have been fortunate enough to book a few private events. But this results in the taproom being closed to the public when it would normally be open. Let’s get to that first and then we will let you know of some other fun and interesting events we have planned.

Sunday, January 21 – Open at 11:30am for Strength For Sobriety – Beer Taps closed until 2pm

Dry January – All Month
We are embracing Dry January this year and will have a variety of N/A options available for purchase, including two N/A beers from our friends at Notch. Ask your bartender for the current selections.
Mug Club Renewals – All Month
Current Mug Club members should plan to renew their memberships during the month of January. You have the next four Thursdays-Sundays to come in and do it. The fee stays the same, $150 for individuals and $250 for couples. As a reminder here is what you get:
- A 20 oz mug to use at the taproom for the same price as a 12oz pour
- $1 off growler fill/4-pack

Thursday, January 11 through Saturday, January 13 – Casks On Park
We are celebrating the triumphant return of Backbeat Brewing with a Casks On Park event this weekend! We will attempt to have two casks on at all times, starting with Squash Porter and IPA. Back up casks are Stout and Porter. So, drink up, me hearties!
Saturday, January 13 – Toby Turner Acoustic Covers w/ Birria Gordita Tacos till 8pm – 4-7pm
Toby Turner is back for a fun evening of good music and good vibes! If you haven’t been to one of Toby’s shows yet, it really is great. It is a low impact performance, perfectly tailored to our space. Just listen, or feel free to sing and dance along. As an added bonus, we are bringing back Birria Gordita Tacos so you don’t even have to plan dinner! Just show up, eat tacos, drink beer and listen to music. Happy Saturday!
Sunday, January 21 – Strength For Sobriety – Doors at 11:30am, Taps Flow at 2pm
If you are looking to connect with a community of awesome sober folks or you just need a little human interaction to complete your Dry January challenge, come to the taproom for our first ever Strength For Sobriety event co-hosted by Theresa Coughlin of Fuel Up With Theresa and Melissa MacLaughlin of Restorative Muscular Therapy. The event actually starts at White Wolf Fitness in Salem with a 10am workout led by Theresa and then the party continues at the taproom at 11:30 with a BYOF social. Please keep in mind that we will only be serving N/A beverage options until 2pm.
Saturday, January 27 – Traditional Irish Music – 1-3pm
Get off your bum and get into the taproom to enjoy some traditional Irish music played by FitzBlarney, a local 5-piece family band. You are sure to know a tune or two!
Friday, February 2 – Bonetown Burgers 5-8pm & New Mug Club Member Sign up – 7pm Sharp!
If you are interested in joining our Mug Club, you must be present for our annual raffle drawing. Joining the raffle is free, but if your number is called, you are expected to pay the fee and join. You will get your mug on the spot and the first beer is on us! Perks are listed above. And as an added bonus, Bonetown Burgers will be here slinging burgers and tots! Come welcome them back to the taproom!
Sunday, February 4 – Masshole Biscuit Company & Free training w/ Canine Collaborative – 12-4pm
Bring your doggo down for some free treat samples and some free training with these two great dog focused companies. Also, there is talk of a cribbage tournament later that day from 3-6pm.

Saturday, February 10 – Paint Night w/ Colin McGuire – 8-10pm
Buy tickets to join local artist Colin McGuire on our first ever paint night at the taproom! Tickets are $50 and can be purchased here. All materials and your first beer are included in the ticket price.
Saturday, February 17 – Brewery Babe w/ Miz Diamond Wigfall – 7:30-9:30pm
You need to come see it to believe it! Miz Diamond is an amazing performer and always wows the crowd. Bring your dollar bills and/or your Venmo.
Tuesday, February 27 – Ward 2 Civic Association Meeting – 6:30pm
If you are a resident of Ward 2 (Downtown ward), we are hosting them and Beverly Main Streets Downtown 2030 committee for a listening session about envisioning our downtown for the future. Join us and share your thoughts with the group!
Thursday, February 29 – Can Release – 4pm
This can release begins our 8th anniversary celebration. We are currently designing some new labels for this canning run. Which means we are putting beer in cans that we never have before and/or haven’t canned in a while. We know you will all be excited about it!
