Gentile Brewing Company and Historic Beverly are teaming up to bring you Beverly’s first recurring Beer Garden at historic Hale Farm taking place every Saturday from June 1, 2019 through September 14, 2019, from 2-6pm. If you have never been to this property, it is located at 39 Hale Street in the heart of downtown Beverly, steps from Cabot Street and near the waterfront. This historic house sits on a beautiful acre plot of flat land perfect for a summer picnic and lawn games.
When you purchase beer at the Hale Farm Beer Garden you will receive a 16oz pour and a $1 from every beer sold will be donated to Historic Beverly. Just like at the taproom, well-behaved kids and dogs are welcome. Just please clean up after them. Bring a picnic, bring a blanket and relax in this green oasis in the middle of downtown. Parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the property, but it is limited. Your best bet would be to park downtown and walk. It really is not that far and you can explore the wonderful city we call home in the process.
One of the main goals of this beer garden is to raise awareness about historic preservation in Beverly. Historic Beverly manages three wonderful properties within the city but without the support of the community their job of maintaining these properties gets very difficult. These historic spaces add value to the community of Beverly. Please keep in mind that this Beer Garden is in a residential area and we are only able to do this because the people that live in that neighborhood were kind enough to give us the go ahead. Please respect them and where they live.
You are welcome on the property at any time but the Beer Garden will only be pouring beer from 2-6pm. If bad weather is expected we will do our best to communicate our plans ahead of time. We can’t wait to see you there!
