Well, it certainly has been a while since we have written one of these. We finally have enough to talk about!
Saturday, August 7, 2-6pm – Three Gingers Jerky
The founder of this company, Noah, has been in our circle of friends for a decade now. We absolutely LOVE that he has started his own business and are pumped that he agreed to come hawk his goods at our taproom. Come try, AND BUY, some jerky from him between 2-6pm. His jerky is “respectfully inspired by a regionally specific style of Southeast Asia.” We hope you love it as much as we do!
For the remaining food vendor dates in August and moving forward we need to have a new rule with regard to the Taco Slide. When we have a food vendor on-site, we will not have the Taco Slide open. Our vendors work hard to add value to our taproom and provide variety to what we offer. They deserve to have the undivided attention of our guests while they are here. With that said, before they arrive or after they leave, and when the weather allows, the Taco Slide will be available.
Friday, August 13, 4-8pm – Empanada Dada
He’s BACK! You know him, you love him, so come see him! You’re gonna need at least two 5-packs. maybe three.
Saturday, August 14, 2-6pm – Hill Country Market BBQ
Robert is a native of the Texas hill country. Now that he lives in Salem, he is bringing the hill country, to us! Join us for smoked pulled pork sandwiches and sides in what is sure to be a first of many pop ups from Hill Country Market at Gentile. And we suggest getting there early to make sure you can get some of this first round.
Thursday, August 19 – Double Beer Release
We are releasing a limited amount of two very special beers. The first is the New England IPK. This is a scaled down version of the recipe developed by home brewer Tom Secondo. His version was about 9%. Ours is closer to 6.5%. It is heavily hopped with Galaxy and Citra and fermented with a Kölsch yeast. It is a really good beer and will go quickly.
The second beer is the 2021 version of Black Is Beautiful. As with the inaugural brew, we will be donating 100% of the proceeds from this beer to an organization that supports equity and fights for justice for people of color. Last year we donated to the recently founded chapter of the NAACP, North Shore. This beer is a 10% imperial stout and will be sold as singles this year. Limits might be placed on this beer depending on the final totals. Both will be on draft this Thursday until they are gone. Taproom only.
Friday, August 20, 5-9pm – Jaju Pierogi
One of our first pop ups over five years ago, Jaju returns to Beverly! Come down for Friday night pierogi, sour cream and sauerkraut! The Pierogi Sisters, Vanessa and Casey, are pros at this dumpling game so get yourself to the taproom!
Friday, August 27, 4-8pm – Empanada Dada
Rob is starting up his bi-weekly visits again as we move through the end of the summer and into the fall. Come for the empanadas, stay for the late night tacos (8-10pm when we reopen the Taco Slide)!
That should be it. We hope to see you soon!
