Beverly’s first taproom is turning 4 and we have so much to celebrate!
Here is the lineup of events for the weekend starting with Thursday, March 5 and ending with Sunday, March 8.
Thursday, March 5 – Double Beer Release – DIPA and American Pale Ale and Run ABV 2nd Anniversary Run
The DIPA is the usual that we have made in the past. We made a slight change that should have a big impact. We adjusted the starting gravity of the beer down so that the beer will finish with about 7.5% ABV. This means you get a full glass! You should be able to enjoy this one in all its Cascade and Centennial hop-loaded glory.
The American Pale Ale, probably just Pale Ale for short, is a straight forward light amber pale ale, but dry hopped with Simcoe and Mosaic hops for a huge punch of ripe mango and stone fruit. At just over 5% ABV this one is not to be missed!
In addition to our 4th anniversary of opening the taproom, it’s also our 2nd anniversary of the Run ABV run club. Runners and walkers of any level are welcome to join the club at 6:30pm for a 5k around the neighborhood. We go rain or shine, just make sure to check in at the taproom first.
Friday, March 6 – Tex Mex Eats and New Mug Club Members 5-9pm; 8:00pm
Many of our Mug Club members choose to renew year after year, but there are always some open spots. This year open spots for the Mug Club will be raffled off in the taproom. All you have to do is stop into the taproom after we open to get a raffle ticket (no purchase necessary). Just make sure you’re at the taproom at 8pm when our taproom manager, Emily, will start drawing tickets and signing people up.
Also, Cambridge-based,Tex Mex Eats returns, at long last! Amanda will be serving up her handmade tamales and Frito Pies from 5-9pm. We’re not drooling, you’re drooling.
Saturday, March 7 – Butter “UR” Biscuit 12-6pm
We love these ladies and they are going to be parked out front slinging their chicken and waffles and rice bowls and all other manners of delicious from 12-6pm. Come by and raise a glass to 4 years!
Sunday, March 8 – Brunch, Books, and Brews 12pm-5pm
Sunday is going to be a busy day in the taproom. Farewell Boston is coming up to do scalzones and sticky buns. Copper Dog Books is setting up a book fair. And Kid Dream Coffee will have their coffee cart. It is going to get a bit tight but dang it! It’s A Party!
We told you we’d have a lot of good stuff going on. Last year we had three perfect attendance awards. How many of you this year will make it each day of the weekend to celebrate our 4th anniversary??
And in all seriousness, the entire Gentile team (and family!) would like to take a minute to recognize everyone who’s helped our business grow and thrive over the last 4 years. Whether you’ve been in once, you’re in every weekend, or you have yet to make it in, your support of our community-focused, family-owned small business means everything to us. We love you Beverly!
