October 2026 Events

October is shaping up to be a busy month at Gentile Brewing, with a little bit of everything on the calendar. We've got art, karaoke, makers and music, the return of the Beverly Beer Mile Fall Crawl, a new Tuesday game night, and of course plenty of beer.

We're also brewing one of our favorite fall beers, so let's get into it!

🎃🍺 New Beer: Squash Porter

It's officially fall brewing season, and we're bringing back our Squash Porter!

We're brewing this year's batches using a combination of Long Island cheese pumpkins from Chickadee Hill Farms in Rowley and butternut squash. The pumpkins were roasted before making their way into the beer, and the whole brewery already smelled pretty fantastic the past couple of days from our fall spice blend.

The Squash Porter is scheduled to be canned on Thursday, October 15, along with several other beers:

• English Bitter
• Divergent
• Double IPA
• Blonde
• IPA

So if you like taking beer home with you, October 15 should be a good day to stock up.

🎨🍔 Friday, October 2 — Art Opening + BoneTown Burgers

We're kicking off the month with an art show opening featuring Kristen Linsky, one of our Mug Club members.

Kristen recently took a sabbatical from her job and has reconnected with her passion for painting, and we're excited to give her a space to share her work.

The show will feature original paintings as well as prints, so there will be options at a variety of price points.

The art show will get started around 4 PM, when we open.

And come hungry because BoneTown Burgers will be here from 5–8 PM serving dinner.

Should be a really fun night!

🎤 Saturday, October 3 — Family-Friendly Karaoke "Brunch"

We're doing karaoke again, but this time we're trying something new!

Our last karaoke night featured a lot of kids singing a lot of Frozen and Taylor Swift, which was perfectly fine, but we thought we'd try a more family-friendly daytime format.

Karaoke starts at noon on Saturday with DJ Molly Rox, so bring the kids, grab a beer, and get ready to sing along. We plan to go until 4pm, especially if folks are there and belting it out!

💘 Saturday, October 10 — Sips & Sparks

Sips & Sparks returns on Saturday, October 10 for another opportunity to meet some new people over a few drinks.

This event is for singles, ages 30-45 and tickets can be found here.

🎨🎶 Saturday, October 17 — Autumnpalooza

Starting at noon, Henry from Bonefish Harry's is putting together Autumnpalooza, a beer and maker festival in the parking lot area behind Bonefish on Cabot Street.

There will be makers, music, and plenty going on throughout the day like a stein-holding competition and a "das boot" race. We will be serving our Helles and Dunkel there as well and as a result we will keep the taproom closed until 4pm so we can focus our collective energy on making that event super fun.

We'll share more details as they become available, but this should be a great way to spend a fall Saturday.

🍺🚶 Saturday, October 24 — Beverly Beer Mile Fall Crawl

The Beverly Beer Mile Fall Crawl is back!

This year, the crawl features the three remaining Beverly breweries:

• Yours truly...
• Coastal Mass Brewing
• Backbeat Brewing
• RIP Old Planters **sad face**

As usual, it is an all-day event, running from whenever Backbeat starts pouring beer until we all close that evening.

The idea is simple: visit all three breweries, have a pint at each, and earn a cool commemorative glass when you complete the Beer Mile.

And while you're walking between breweries, make a point of supporting some of the other great businesses along the way. There are plenty of places to eat, shop, and explore in the neighborhood.

We'll also have Empanada Dada here from 3–7 PM to keep everyone well fed.

🎃 Halloween Week

We're not planning a specific Halloween event this year. Halloween falls on a Saturday, and with Salem just across the bridge, we're not going to try to compete with that particular spectacle!

Instead, we'll be open for our regular hours 12-9pm.

Keep in mind we are still open Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5–9 PM if you need to acquire some "treats" for your Trick-or-Treat stroll.

🎲 Tuesday Game Night

We're going to start promoting Tuesdays as Game Night.

We'll be putting a dartboard in the back, we already have Biñho and a few tabletop/card games, and we'd love for you to bring your favorite board or card game and some friends.

We've also got the TV available, so if you have a portable gaming system you'd like to bring in and hook up, go for it! Mario Kart anyone?

Come play something, have a beer, and make Tuesday nights a little more interesting.

🧠 Wednesday Trivia with Joe Marino

Wednesday nights continue to feature Trivia with Joe Marino from 7–9 PM.

We've had a few lighter crowds recently, so we're hoping to get some more teams together in October.

Grab your friends, form a team, and come test your knowledge!

☀️ A Quick October Reminder

Our fall schedule currently has us open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5–9 PM, in addition to our regular Thursday through Saturday hours.

We are remaining closed on Sundays during the fall.

October is going to be a busy one, especially on Saturdays, and we're looking forward to spending the month with you.

Come check out some local art, sing a few songs, play some games, drink some fall beer, walk the Beer Mile, or just come hang out with us.
